How to Find your Talents - 5 Good Ways

How to Find your Talents - 5 Good Ways

Why you need to find your talents???

Most people never find their natural talents and strengths – either because they do not believe they have any or because they underestimate their importance. If you want to be successful, discovering
your uniqueness is not a nice bonus – it’s a necessity. The following two examples show you why:

Your biggest room for growth lies within your talents

A common assumption in today’s society is that the key to success is fixing your weakness. People tend to think that working on what you are not good at is the fastest way to grow and develop. That’s far from the truth. Of course, you can get better at anything. Working on your weakness can help you go from bad to mediocre. But you will never be able to achieve true excellence without an underlying talent. As Markus Buckingham says: each person’s greatest room for growth is in the areas of his or her greatest strength.î So find these areas of talent and strength and capitalize on them. That way you can use your full potential.

Making use of your key differentiator

What sets you apart from everyone else is your unique personality with all the special talents and strengths that you possess. YOU are the biggest asset that you could ever have. The first step to embrace your uniqueness is being aware that you are special. You are like nobody else in this world. Nobody else has had the same experiences as you. No one has exactly the same characteristics and shares the same values. Nobody has learned all the various skills you learned. Discovering your talents and strengths means becoming more aware of who you really are. Because only when you know what makes you so unique ñ you can fully embrace and make use of it.

But what exactly is a talent?

A talent is simply a strong characteristic that you have. It’s something you naturally do, think, or feel and that can be used in a beneficial way. It is nothing you acquired in school or that was taught to you at university. A talent is just a natural pattern of thought, feeling, or behavior. Psychologists say that 90% of what you think every day is repetitive*. Meaning most of what you think today, you already thought yesterday, and 90% of these thoughts you also thought the day before … Not only are your thoughts the results of underlying patterns but also your behavior and feelings. Finding your talents is simply about discovering these most prominent patterns within you and then using it to your advantage.

Identifying your unique talents

To set yourself up for success and capitalize on the way you are, you need to identify your unique characteristics. This is a process that takes quite some time but that is definitely worth doing!
The following four ways can help you get started:

1.What do I Enjoy Doing Most?

Check yourself, there is something you have a special ability for, usually something you didn’t even learn before you knew how to do it.
Discover that “thing”, whatever it is (now I don’t mean you should continue sleeping because you didn’t learn it before you were able to do it).
In most cases, we discover that we actually love to exercise our talents; it’s something that you don’t mind spending a whole day doing, you just always enjoy doing it.
It could be telling stories, which you could employ writing or even acting.  Maybe its cracking jokes which could make you a comedian, which is one of the best earning jobs in the entertainment industry today.  Maybe you enjoy making analyses about the economy, you could become a renowned economist if you pursue it as a career.  Maybe its the ability to give credible advice under different circumstances which could  make you a renowned consultant, it could be anything

REMEMBER: Whatever anyone has done, someone else can do as well. You’ll never be exactly the same as another person, but you don’t need to be. You can use the successes and achievements of other people as guidelines to help you decide where you want to arrive at the end of your particular journey. But you can be unique and different and successful in your own way. Talents lies here because you enjoy doing it.

2.Listen to what the universe is saying about you.

I just threw the universe thing in there. I actually mean the people around you. What do people tell you about yourself? Do people tell you that you explain things so clearly, you’re a good listener or you would make a great teacher? They are probably seeing qualities in you that lend themselves well to other professions, disciplines and pastimes. READ ALSO: 9 Possible Signs you are on a Wrong Move

3.Find what makes you feel strong

Keep track of how you spend the next two days: What are you doing, feeling or thinking about daily? Write down everything that energizes you and makes you feel strong. It could be a particular physical activity such as meeting up and going dancing with a friend or a mental activity such as finding a solution to a difficult problem. Then when you found a few things you repeatedly do and love, dig deeper and see what part of that particular activity made you feel good.
So for example, one of my patterns is that I love learning and sharing my findings with you. That statement in itself is not quite true: I don’t like learning about everything. Give me books about personal development and I am occupied for hours feeling energized and in flow. Give me almost anything else and I am bored to hell. I like sharing what I learn but if you make me talk about it in front of a crowd, I will try to run and hide. However, sit down with me alone and I will happily talk with you for hours. These are distinct differences that are vital to know in order to make the most of my talent.
Look out for your own patterns: what are you always doing or thinking about? What can you just not help doing, thinking or feeling? Even if someone asks you not to? Often these are things that others can find quite annoying about you

4.Discover what you spend your money on

Your core values are closely linked with what you spend your money and time on. Take note of what you spend your money on and look closer at what this can tell you about yourself.
For example, I spend my money on books, seminars and conferences. The types of books I buy show me what I am passionate about – namely personal development and entrepreneurship. But what’s behind it is my innate desire to learn and grow. That is a strong natural characteristic of mine, a talent that drives everything I do, how I think and how I spend my time.
If you like spending money on going out with friends, is it that you like bringing people together? Is it that you like getting attention and expressing yourself? Or maybe is it because you value deepening your pre-existing friendships? Why do you do what you do? What is behind it? The key is to keep digging deeper in order to get to the core essence of your talent patterns.
Most people, including myself in the past, make the terrible mistake of being too fast and not taking enough time to truly discover themselves. Identifying what makes you truly unique and what drives you is not a 1-minute exercise you can complete while brushing your teeth.

5. Use failure as motivation.

Things aren’t always going to go your way, no matter how well
you and your teams properly align with your goals. Sometimes we need a good
kick to get us going. Sometimes we need the pain of failure to reset, revise, and reassess. Are you taking risks? Are you
failing? If so, good going.
Winston Churchill failed grandly more than once, and was famously cast to the
political “wilderness” and then came roaring back to lead the British
resistance. Steve Jobs was fired from the company he
founded but through persistence ultimately came back to save it from
extinction. Hillary Clinton failed to win the presidency but then became a
powerful and respected Secretary of State. Each of them, in their own way,
failed, learned from their mistakes, and most importantly, persisted in the face
of failure. Phoenix rising is the way of the world today and we are in the
midst of its widespread occurrence.

5 Dangerous Diseases You Can Contact During Sex, Regardless of Condom Use.

When it comes to diseases that are transmitted through skin, the condom will not work. Therefore, if you are sexually active, it is Better to Hold till you get Married Or is important to regularly do tests, even if you practice safe sex! Some STD’s have serious health consequences if left untreated.

These are the most common diseases that you can get infected even with using a condom. Is not a Surprise & New thing. STAY SAFE

  1.Genital Herpes

If the wound of the herpes is located in the groin or the part not covered by a condom, it may cause transmission of herpes through that unprotected wound. Doctors recommend abstinence when you have a visible outbreak of herpes (herpes is easily transferred), but you should know that herpes can be transmitted even when there are no visible symptoms.
Condom is not sufficient protection nor with herpes type 2 – genital herpes, nor with herpes type 1 – oral herpes. which is recently discovered that it can be transmitted through sexual intercourse. Depending on the stage of the disease, herpes may be less (when no visible symptoms) or more infected (with visible bubbles on the skin). Also genital herpes can cause vaginal pain.

    2. HPV

HPV is the most common STI; there are over 100 strains of the virus. Some strains of HPV go unnoticed and seem to cause no symptoms at all, while others can cause genital warts or various cancers. Because genital warts can be on parts of the genitals that are not covered by a condom, especially female condoms, HPV can be spread via skin-to-skin contact. What’s worse– there is no male STD test for HPV and many cases show no symptoms, so it is often passed on unknowingly to partners.

  3. Syphilis

Yes, syphilis is still around. Syphilis is a highly contagious bacterial infection that spreads through sexual contact, including oral, vaginal, and anal sex. Syphilis sores occur at the infection site, and can be contracted by a partner via skin-to-skin contacts regardless of using condom.

  4. Human Papillomavirus

Human Papillomavirus is one of the most common STDs out there. As of 2013, there were 79 million reported cases of it in the United States according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). What makes it so common? It isn’t passed through fluids like more severe STDs, but rather just through skin-on-skin contact. There are thousands of strains of the virus, some are mild and never manifest themselves, some cause warts, and some can cause cancer.

   5. Public Lice/Crabs

Pubic lice, also known as crabs, are Pthirus pubis that infect the genitals. These lice are most common among teens and are typically spread during sexual, skin-to-skin contact. Pubic lice can live among public hair and can be spread whether or not a condom is used.

            HOW CAN I STAY SAFE??

The easiest way to protect yourself is to know if your partner is tested, and if he had other partners since he have been tested,  and what his / her relationships were in the past.
Also, if you reduce the number of sexual partners it reduces the chances to get infected with a sexually-transmitted diseases.
To reduce the number of possible breaks in the skin, use a lubricant, it will reduce friction, which can also reduce the direct contact between the skin.
Always keep protection with you  OR even stay away from it and wait till you get Married In other not to Regret Later.

Important: Things We Don't Know it Affects The Life As a Youths/Adults/Teens.

Here Are The Major Thing That Affect Life
Of The Children/Youths and Married This Days

  1. Technology's Negative effects

Neurosis
Technology causes people to suffer from mental and emotional disturbances, such as anxiety, phobias and delusions, which are all symptoms of neurosis
. Being convinced you’re very ill after looking up strange diseases on WebMD or thinking you are famous because you have had a viral video are a couple of ways technology neurosis manifests itself.
Loss of Hearing and Eyesight
Using headphones and ear buds can cause people to lose their hearing over time. Likewise, straining your eyes looking at computer and device screens can cause people to need glasses much earlier in life.
Be more mindful of the time you spend using technology. If you have longer conversations with Siri than you do with real people, it’s probably time to put the phone down. Force yourself to have an electronic-free day or weekend. When you go on vacation, don’t take your phone or at least put it on “do not disturb”. Creating balance will help you enjoy the benefits of technology without becoming a mindless internet zombie.

  2. Drug/Alcohol Abuse

There was a time in cinematic history where virtually every actor/actress was portrayed on screen with a cigarette in hand. Smoking, it was implied, was cool. As a result everyone was doing it, including kids. Well, as awareness to the danger of smoking increased, “cool” images of smoking disappeared. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about drugs and alcohol. These vices are staples in everyday media. Simply, drinking and using drugs is shown as being cool.
The numbers bear the tale. 21% of high school seniors say they get high and 41% of the same group report drinking alcohol. Our kids are literally moving around in an intoxicated daze. Immature behavior is then amplified due to being under the influence. Drunk driving, poor grades and attendance, anti-social and violent behavior and the list goes on.

    3. Watching Porn/Sex Video and Images

Struthers elaborates,
  1. As men fall deeper into the mental habit of fixating on [pornographic images], the exposure to them creates neural pathways. Like a path is created in the woods with each successive hiker, so do the neural paths set the course for the next time an erotic image is viewed. Over time these neural paths become wider as they are repeatedly traveled with each exposure to pornography. They become the automatic pathway through which interactions with woman are routed….They have unknowingly created a neurological circuit that imprisons their ability to see women rightly as created in God’s image (Wired For Intimacy, 85).
In a similar vein regarding porn’s effect upon the brain, Naomi Wolf writes in her article, “The Porn Myth,”
After all, pornography works in the most basic of ways on the brain: It is Pavlovian. An orgasm is one of the biggest reinforcer imaginable. If you associate orgasm with your wife, a kiss, a scent, a body, that is what, over time, will turn you on; if you open your focus to an endless stream of ever-more-transgressive images of cybersex slaves, that is what it will take to turn you on. The ubiquity of sexual images does not free erros but dilutes it.

4. Unemployment

The study aimed at identifying the social and psychological effects resulted from unemployment on the youth in the Jordanian community from their own perspective and their future attitudes. In addition it aimed to identify the social roles of the youth which are affected by the different problems they are exposed to because of lack of chances of work which made them anxious, depressed and fear of doing any specific work and being unable to change their life track to the best The objectives of the study were achieved through the instrument of the study which was distributed on the sample of the study. It consisted of (50) unemployed persons. The effects of the unemployment were studied in different areas represented such effects on the social life and the psychological problems of the youth, in addition to such effects on the roles of the youth in the community the findings related to the effect of the unemployment on the social problem that face the youth indicated that the delay of marriage age is the most prominent social problem. As for the psychological problems, the findings showed that the hostility feeling is the worst feeling those persons have within their community especially when comparing themselves with those who work. Finally, as for the roles of the youth, the participants showed that the unemployment causes confusion and disability of doing their own roles in the future.

   5. Violence

A child’s education is the foundation from which he or she will be able to go forth out into the world and build a life. Schools play a major role in this endeavor, and therefore it is reasonable to expect that these places of learning would be safe havens for the children while they are preparing for adulthood. Unfortunately, this is not always the case.
In many instances, especially in low income, urban settings, schools can be a war zone. We are not talking about minor bullying, but rather serious violence. Consider that in the last decade 284 kids were murdered due to school violence – these were shootings, stabbings, fighting and suicides. Growing up is tough enough without having to be worried about being killed while going to math class.

How To Control Anger:: 7 Steps You Can Control Your Anger

When you’re angry, you might feel anywhere between a slight irritation to rage.
Anger is not good for you, is not you, Is always against you. Anger has done many things to people try and control it. follow these few steps it will help
.

       1. Take a Deep and Continuous Breath

When you start feeling angry, try deep breathing, positive self-talk, or stopping your angry thoughts. Breathe deeply from your diaphragm. Slowly repeat a calm word or phrase such as "relax" or "take it easy." Repeat it to yourself while breathing deeply until the anger subsides.

      2. Don't hold a grudge

Forgiveness is a powerful tool. If you allow anger and other negative feelings to crowd out positive  feelings, you might find yourself swallowed up by your own bitterness or sense of injustice. But if you can forgive someone who angered you, you might both learn from the situation and strengthen your relationship

     3. Look For possible solutions

Instead of focusing on what made you mad, work on resolving the issue at hand. Does your child's messy room drive you crazy? Close the door. Is your partner late for dinner every night? Schedule meals later in the evening — or agree to eat on your own a few times a week. Remind yourself that anger won't fix anything and might only make it worse.

    4. Think before you speak

In the heat of the moment, it's easy to say something you'll later regret. Take a few moments to collect your thoughts before saying anything — and allow others involved in the situation to do the same.

   5. Expand your view

Sometimes you might become angry because you see only one aspect of the issue—the part that affects you. Try to consider the other side of the story. “Even when people are downright rude

    6. Self-control

is all about thinking before you act. It puts some precious seconds or minutes between feeling a strong emotion and taking an action you'll regret.
Together, self-awareness and self-control allow you to have more choice about how to act when you're feeling an intense emotion like anger.

     7. Your Values

What is the most significant thing in your life? Who are the most important people in your life? What kind of person do you want to be? Think and accept that point that you are living your life, and you are living your values. There is a good man inside you that wants to help you. I wish you good luck.

How to Create A Study Plan for Colleges/Universities

What is a study plan?

A study plan is an organized schedule that students create that outlines study times and learning goals. Just like with work or school schedules, college students should develop a study schedule where they can block off days and times in their calendar dedicated to studying. Creating a study plan not only helps you become more organized, but it also holds you accountable for your own learning outcomes. If you are an online
student, a study plan is even more important in your success in college, since you need to have self-discipline and determination to complete your studies without the constant reminders of an instructor.

Why do I need a study plan?

A study plan is an effective way to help you navigate through your college education in an organized way. Every student will develop a different study plan; there is no correct study plan for everyone. When creating your personalized study plan, you will need to do some self-evaluation of your current schedule and time management. Find days when you have fewer personal commitments when you can squeeze some study time. Remember, each student studies differently, so the amount of time you need to study will differ from the time your classmates devote to studying. Some students find that studying nightly for thirty minutes is more realistic than studying a few times a week for a longer period of time.
You’ll have to identify your learning goals for each study session in order to maximize these scheduled study times. Determine why you are studying, and develop a plan that can help you achieve those goals. Take into consideration upcoming tests, your average in certain courses, and projects that you anticipate will take more time than others.
Lastly, create a study plan that is reasonable. Although you must set aside enough time in your schedule dedicated to your studies, blocking off five hours with no break will set you up for failure. You can spend less time studying if you do it correctly. For a detailed look at how to make a personalized study plan, explore the step-by-step instructions below.

Use these four steps to create your study plan

1: Create a time chart of your current activities. Creating a time chart will allow you to see how you spend your time from day to day. For a one-week period, take notes about your daily activities. Record things like when you are at work, school, or home with family. Even note when you eat and sleep. Once you have done this for a week, look for times that you can slip in an hour of dedicated studying. This chart can be helpful for determining days and times that are consistent each week that you can devote to studying.
2: Develop a schedule – Now that you have determined available days and times for studying, make a mark in your planner or calendar. Use detailed notes to block out times on your calendar so that you are reminded every time you look at it. It is best to have a schedule written down so you don’t forget. Seeing it written down can make it seem more important, like a doctor’s appointment you cannot miss. Also, it is helpful to write down which subject you plan to study, so you can be sure devote enough time to each of your classes. For example, Mondays and Thursdays can be set aside for studying math, while Tuesdays and Fridays can be devoted to English.
3: Determine your study goals – At the beginning of each week, determine why you need to study and what you plan to accomplish in each class. Do you want to raise your average in a particular class in order to maintain a certain GPA? Are you preparing for a big exam? For example, if you are studying for an important midterm exam, alter your study plan two weeks prior to the test to incorporate review of old tests and notes in your sessions. On the other hand, when you don’t have an upcoming test, use your study time to read ahead one chapter in order to grasp the next lecture. You will need to tailor your study plan depending on your weekly goals, so be sure to analyze what you plan to get out of each study session. While it is tempting to skip your study session when there isn’t a test looming over your head, you will reduce your future test preparation time by reading ahead and preparing for lectures.
4: Stick to your schedule – A study plan works best if it is followed on a consistent basis. You should try to develop a study plan that you can follow for the length of each semester of college. Since most students enroll in different classes each semester, you will have to reevaluate your plan and fine-tune it each term. Remember, the most important thing is sticking to your plan.

Strategize for effective follow-through

One way to ensure you follow through with your plan is to schedule time for other activities. By achieving a balanced schedule, your mind will be more receptive during time devoted to studying. If you schedule several long days in a row of studying, you will get discouraged and will be tempted to give up. It is acceptable, and even recommended, that you schedule time for nonacademic activities, such as exercise, hobbies, and socializing with other students. When you are studying, remember to take breaks in order to prevent feeling overwhelmed.
Lastly, some students find it helpful to find a study partner. Studying with a classmate allows for collaboration and discussion. When creating your study plan, check with other students in your class to determine if you can coordinate study sessions. However, if you tend to socialize more than study when you are around others, stick to an independent study plan. If you do choose to study with a partner, choose someone with whom you are likely to stay on task.

Leverage tools for creating a study plan

If keeping a paper and pen schedule is not helpful to you, consider other ways for keeping your studies on track. Take advantage of study planner apps, like My Study Planner, available for smart phones and tablets, which can help you manage your study schedules. Websites like MyStudyLife.com are also helpful, allowing you to create an account to better organize your study time with to-do lists and calendars.

How to Study the Bible -Recomended-

 Getting Started

There are many ways to study the Bible. This method is just one to consider.
If you need help getting started, this particular method is great for beginners, but can be geared toward any level of study. As you become more comfortable studying God's Word, you will begin to develop your own techniques and discover favorite resources that will make your study very personal and meaningful.
You've taken the biggest step by getting started. Now the real adventure begins.

Choose a Book of the Bible

With this method, you will study an entire book of the Bible. If you've never done this before, start with a small book, preferably from the New Testament. The book of James, Titus, 1 Peter, or 1 John are all good choices for first-timers. Plan to spend 3-4 weeks studying the book you have chosen.

Beging With Prayer

Probably one of the most common reasons Christians don't study the Bible is based on this complaint, "I just don't understand it!" Before you start each study session, begin by praying and asking God to open your spiritual understanding.
The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." So, as you pray, realize that the words you are studying are inspired by God.
Psalm 119:130 tells us, "The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple."

Read the Entire Book

Next, you'll spend some time, perhaps several days, reading through the entire book. Do this more than once. As you read, look for themes that may be woven into the chapters.
Sometimes you'll detect a general message in the book. For example, in the book of James, an obvious theme is "persevering through trials." Take notes on the ideas that jump out at you.
Look also for "life application principles." An example of a life application principle in the book of James is: "Make sure your faith is more than just a statement -- it should result in action."
It's a good practice to try and pull out these themes and applications on your own as you meditate, even before you begin using other study tools. This gives an opportunity for God's Word to speak to you personally.

Zoom In

Now you will slow down and read the book verse by verse, breaking down the text, looking for deeper understanding.
Hebrews 4:12 begins with, "For the word of God is living and active..." Are you starting to get excited about Bible study? What a powerful statement!
In this step, we'll see what the text looks like under a microscope, as we begin breaking it down. Using a Bible dictionary, look up the meaning of the word living in the original language. It is the Greek word 'Zaõ' meaning, "not only living, but causing to live, vivifying, quickening." You start to see a deeper meaning: "God's Word causes life to come about; it quickens."
Because God's Word is alive, you can study the same passage several times and continue to discover new, relevant applications throughout your walk of faith.

 Choose Your Tools

As you continue to do this type of verse by verse study, there's no limit to the wealth of understanding and growth that will come from your time spent in God's Word.
For this portion of your study, you will want to consider choosing the right tools to aid in your learning, such as a commentary, lexicon or Bible dictionary. A Bible study guide or perhaps a study Bible will also help you dig deeper.
Check out my Top 10 Bibles for suggestions on great Bibles for Bible study. Also check out my top Bible commentaries for suggestions on choosing a helpful commentary. There are also many useful online Bible study resources available, if you have access to a computer for your study time.
Lastly, this resource links to an introductory overview of every book in the Bible

Be Doer of The Word

Don't just study God's Word for the sake of studying. Be sure to put the Word into practice in your life.
Jesus said in Luke 11:28, "But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice."
If God speaks to you personally or through life application principles you find in the text, be sure to apply those nuggets to your day-to-day life.

Set Your Own Pace

Once you've finished the first book, choose another one and follow the same steps. You may want to spend much more time digging into the Old Testament and some of the longer books of the Bible.

Best Ways To Make Money While A Student

Seek part time work in the area surrounding university.

One of your first options to make money in the area surrounding university is a part-time job. Most universities are located in areas that abound with retail stores, and therefore, retail jobs. There is also the option of a local pub or restaurant. This may require you to be a little more flexible with your schedule, but is a steady source of income.

For the DIY lover: Sell your own crafts

Put your skills to use! Whether you’re particularly good at knitting, origami, painting or drawing, virtually anything you make can be sold online. Peruse your local craft store—or, better yet, thrift store—for small trinkets or ornaments that you can refurbish or incorporate into art or jewelry. Take your origami talents to the next level by making cute earrings to sell. Try knitting a beanie or a scarf. Make a few bars of pretty homemade hand soap, or maybe even try your hand at some DIY fashion items.
If you want to look extra professional when you sell your crafts, design a logo on Inkscape (it’s like Adobe InDesign or Photoshop, but easier to use!) and slap a label on whatever you choose to make. Tie a ribbon around it for good measure. As long as your craft looks cute and professional, it’s almost guaranteed that someone will want to buy it!
You can sell your handmade items online through Etsy or ArtFire, but you can also bring what you’ve made to a stand at a farmer’s market or a local vendor.

For the social (media) butterfly: Get sponsored on Twitter or YouTube

Have a million followers on Twitter? Got a knack for shooting snarky, viral videos? Why not try making money off of them?
For example, a lot of makeup companies will pay popular YouTubers to review their products in “vlogs.” So if you already have a channel with a steady subscriber base, consider leaving contact information for business inquiries on your homepage.
Another way to make money from YouTube is to become a partner through their Partner Program. Becoming a YouTube partner requires having a minimum of 100 subscribers and adhering to the YouTube Community Guidelines, but it comes with a lot of perks, including getting free specialized online classes through Creator Academy and greater freedom in customizing your homepage and brand. The best part? YouTube partners have the option to enable their accounts for monetization. Once the account is enabled, a five- to 10-second advertisement will play at the beginning of all your videos, and you’ll receive a small revenue cut for every 1,000 views.
Similarly, companies will often pay prominent Twitter users to promote their content and products. If you have an account with a healthy following numbering in the thousands, take advantage of it! The easiest way to get started is to sign up for services such as the ChaCha Affiliate Program. These companies connect savvy Twitter users with corporations and celebrities that want social media advertising. Just tweet the text or product links that they send you, and you’ll receive a portion of the ad revenue!

 For the A+ student: Tutor

If you’re doing well in school and love teaching others, why not put your skills to good use tutoring the neighborhood kids?
Make a few simple posters listing your qualifications, availability and contact information, and put them up at your local library and coffee shops. Hand them out to your relatives and neighbors. Some teachers might even be willing to recommend your services to students who might be struggling in their classes, so definitely chat up your old teachers. Remember to keep your resumé on hand when you start getting calls!
Nearly any skill or passion you have is marketable. You can become the local music tutor if you’re a musician. If you’re good at soccer, try organizing a few younger kids into a team and coach them in the afternoons.
The great thing about tutoring is that the hours tend to be pretty flexible and you’ll be able to meet the kids right at your local library after school or on the weekends. Virginia, a freshman at Columbia University, was able to pay for a portion of her college tuition by tutoring the children of family friends through the school year. “Because you’re only meeting with the student once or twice a week at most, I found that parents were willing to pay much more than just minimum wage,” she says. “I make 20 dollars an hour, which doesn’t seem like much for one session, but it adds up quickly with multiple tutees.”

For the artist: Become a freelance graphic designer

The word “graphic designer” might sound a bit scary and professional, but in reality it’s an easy work-from-home job with flexible hours. As it turns out, there are a remarkable number of small startups and local businesses looking for someone with a good aesthetic sense to create logos, flyers, posters and other visuals for their brands.
Jordan, a high school senior at Phillips Academy, decided to pursue this path after creating a website for his sister’s bakery. According to him, getting started is easy as long as you have an existing body of work you can shape into a portfolio. It doesn’t have to be actual commissioned work, and it can range from posters to cool fonts to website or print layouts you’ve made.
“For the last few years, I've been making posters for events at school, designing websites and branding and creating logos for most of the clubs I'm in. So when I needed funding to pursue more deeply my passion for social justice-based projects, starting a small branding and design studio just seemed like the natural way to go,” Jordan says. “Right now I'm branding my sister's bakery (ashleyjeannes.com) and my friend's NGO, and I'm compiling it all onto my online portfolio.”
After setting up a website, the easiest way to get hired is to promote your business through word of mouth and Facebook ads, as both are relatively cheap or free. Taking the initiative and reaching out to startups on your own is also a great way to go.
“I'm going to continue reaching out to people who are starting out, or organizations and businesses who are in dire need of a brand, and see if they’re interested,” Jordan says. “Even if I contact 20 people and only one person is interested, that's a client.” If this helps, please drop you comments below. you can also add what you think is not here down the comment Box..

The Proper Time to Speak or Keeping Shut( When To Speak up or Shut up)

The Proper Time and Place to Speak Up or Shut Up

A very scarce article, except you are purchasing from the author but here is well written. Good Speach a sign of wisdom, this why Adage saying, “The truth shall set you free,” is often true, there’s also weight in the idea that “Silence is golden.” Indeed, there’s a time and place for applying both axioms, but the trick is knowing which to implore when. If you’re faced with a difficult situation at work, at home or in a friendship or love relationship, it’s important to know when to speak your mind and when to keep your thoughts to yourself.

Speak Up: When it Affects Life, Death or Well-Being
When it comes to your life, your well-being or the life and well-being of someone you love, you most definitely should speak up. A lot of people have trouble speaking up in the presence of authority figures (doctors, lawyers, teachers, police, etc.), but you can question them and still be respectful. It’s okay, especially if you think they’re mistaken. Everyone is human and makes mistakes, but if the mistake could cost you your life or heath, you need to speak up. If your gut is telling you something’s wrong, go with it! You owe it to yourself or your loved one to speak up. If you don’t find the words to express yourself, you may live to regret it.

Speak Up: When You Feel Uncomfortable
Your self-esteem will also suffer as a result and you’ll start to feel insecure and second-guess yourself. Remember, you can speak up if you’re uncomfortable without being rude. It’s not about being stubborn or difficult. Rather, it’s about setting boundaries. If you don’t, someone will continue to cross them!
You know that feeling you get when something is off? It’s also the feeling you get when you agree to something against your better judgement. If something makes you feel uncomfortable, you need to speak up! If you don’t, you’re going against your gut instinct and not acting in your highest good.

Speak Up: When You Have a Question
Admitting you don’t know something can be embarrassing, especially when it’s something you “should” know. This fear of embarrassment often causes us to remain silent instead of asking for clarification or details. Unfortunately, this means we never learn what we “should” have known in the first place. The bottom line is that asking questions is never stupid. However, it’s foolish to keep your mouth shut for fear of looking stupid.

Shut Up: When You’re Highly Emotional
Emotions make us say and do things we don’t mean. In a highly charged situation, like during a fight with your partner, you may want to say something to anger or shock the other person. But if you’re highly emotional, what you say may not be coherent or it may not reflect how you really feel. You’re just sharing a jumble of feelings that don’t make sense when you’re highly emotional. It’s better to take the time to collect your thoughts rather than speak up in the (heated) moment. Once words are spoken, they can never be taken back—even if you didn’t mean them. Save a difficult conversation for after you’ve cooled down. It could save your relationship!

Quality Steps to Overcome Barrier/Problem/Obstacles

1. Think big

The biggest barrier to achieving success is often ourselves and those around us. How often have you thought about doing something challenging and find yourself saying: 'I'll never be able to achieve that!' More often, in my experience, it is the lack of support from those closest to you, your family and friends, who play the critical role in halting a challenge before it has even begun. ‘There’s no way you can do that’ is a classic response to the presentation of a potential challenge to friends and family that leads to the first and most important risk to your challenge.

Overcoming this first barrier and identifying your challenge is the first step on your road to success. Make sure the challenge is important to you, that you have the time to commit to the planning, preparation and delivery of the challenge, and that you have the resources to deliver success (money, equipment etc). Having established your challenge, then you should go public and let family, friends and colleagues know what you are aiming to achieve – a challenge shared is a challenge halved!

2. Set goals

Major challenges can often appear unachievable when viewed as a whole. The key to delivering success is to dissect the challenge into a number of smaller steps which together lead to the delivery of your challenge. Each small step can be viewed as a short-term goal. Combining a number of short-term goals leads to the delivery of a medium-term goal, and combining medium-term goals leads to the completion of your journey, the delivery of your long-term goal (your challenge) and success.

Goal-setting is relatively simple if you follow a few simple rules. A goal should be challenging but achievable - it is important that you establish your goals at the beginning and make sure they are outside your comfort zone; don’t set your sights low. In addition, make sure that the goal is measurable so you can monitor your progress on a regular basis. And most importantly, celebrate success. When you achieve a goal, make sure to smell the roses!

3. Brain power

Most of the challenges we take on appear entirely physical in nature – losing weight, running a marathon, developing a beach body – but the brain is central to the delivery of success whatever the challenge. It is rarely our physical selves that stop us from achieving a major challenge. More often it is our loss of belief, commitment and motivation that leads to failure. This psychological trio works together in harmony to keep you on the road to success.

Believing you can achieve your goal provides the foundations in overcoming your challenge. With belief comes a commitment to investing the time, effort and resources to make sure you continue to deliver your short-term goals, and repeated success in delivering your goals increases your motivation which, in turn, increases your belief in your abilities to deliver your long-term goal.

Making sure you pay attention to your brain performance throughout your challenge will optimise your chances of delivering your physical goals.

4. Leave no stone unturned

Achieving a major goal is rarely simply about delivering on a single determinant of performance. The road to a successful challenge requires the optimisation of a range of performance variables simultaneously. For example, achieving a better physique is not simply about doing more sit-ups! You must improve your diet, increase your strength and endurance training, optimise your sleep and recovery etc. So, having committed to the challenge, you must construct a plan to optimise each of the areas required to deliver success.

In addition to those determinants required to deliver success, there will also be risks that negatively impact on performance. For example, if your goal is to stop smoking, a common risk comes from friends who do not share your enthusiasm and continually offer you cigarettes. Making sure you have a plan to address any risks when they arise is vital. The more detailed the plan, the greater your chances of success. If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail! Do not leave anything to chance; success is not a chance event.

5. Signing the contract

Making a contract with yourself to deliver success is particularly valuable when you are struggling with belief, commitment and/or motivation. By formalising an arrangement detailing your goal and when you will deliver it, you are much more likely to be successful. This may seem a slightly bizarre approach, but the more formal the contract, the greater the chances of delivering on your commitment to it.

Your contract raises the selective importance of your goal and provides the necessary motivation to persist with the appropriate amount of work until you have delivered success. Asking a third party, someone close to you, to witness the contract will raise the importance of the contract and the responsibility on you to deliver success. Having made a contract place in a public place, like the fridge. This will increase the importance of your commitment to the contract and raise the profile of the reward once you deliver success. Here is an example of a personal contract for weight-management that you could adapt for your own challenge.

Be willing to abandon what doesn't work.

Some products or services you include in the business might not work. We tend to fall in love with our own products and services and find it hard to let something go. It's almost as if we develop blinders that prevent us from seeing what is very clear to outsiders, but not to us. If you're going to play the game, you need to know when to fold the cards. As Gary Hamel put it in What Matters Now: How to Win in a World of Relentless Change, Ferocious Competition, and Unstoppable Innovation,
"There's a simple, but oft-neglected lesson. To sustain success, you have to be willing to abandon things that are no longer successful.” Evaluate what doesn't work and have the courage to walk away from it before it becomes a major obstacle. The energy you will have released from letting it go will increase your concentration on what works—it will allow you to apply the intensity of a laser focus on the right target.

Replace old strategies with new ones.

Some obstacles are the result of our ingrained habits—clinging to outdated modes and ways of doing business because it's what we know best. One such example is relying on outbound marketing tactics without considering the value of inbound marketing strategies. Inbound marketing is the brainchild of HubSpot
. It means attracting customers through a variety of avenues such as blogs, podcasts, videos, social media marketing and many other forms of content marketing
. It is the antecedent of outbound marketing, which includes strategies such as cold calling, direct email marketing and spam, to name a few. This humorous HubSpot video
illustrates the difference between the two modes of marketing. Don't stay behind the times. Embrace social media, create valuable content that you can share freely and hire a professional to help you optimize your website

9 Possible Signs You Are On A Wrong Move

We suddenly realized how the fragility of life makes every moment so meaningful, and that most of us waste far too many moments immersing ourselves in needless distractions that steal our attention away from the things that actually matter.
If you feel like you’re on the wrong track with what matters most to you, here are nine warning signs to look for, and tips to get you back on track:

1.  All the decisions you’ve made someone else made for you.

There are people who live their entire lives on the default settings, never realizing they can customize everything.  Don’t be one of them.
You have to live your own life your own way.  That’s all there is to it.  Each of us has a unique fire in our heart for something that makes us feel alive.  It’s your duty to find it and keep it lit.  You’ve got to stop caring so much about what everyone else wants for you, and start actually living for yourself.
Find your love, your talents, your passions and embrace them.  Don’t hide behind other people’s decisions.  Don’t let others tell you what you want.  Design and experience YOUR life!  The life you create from doing something that moves you is far better than the life you get from sitting around wishing you were doing it.

2.  You’re only doing what you’re doing because it’s safe.

Never let your fear decide your future.  To play it too safe is one of the riskiest choices you can make.  You cannot grow unless you are willing to change and adapt.  You will never improve yourself if you cling to what used to be simply because it’s familiar and comfortable.
Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what could be.  The bold steps you take into the unknown won’t be easy, but every step is worth it.  There’s no telling how many miles you will have to run while chasing a dream, but this chase is what gives meaning to life.  And even if you have to fail several times before you succeed, your worst attempt will always be 100% better than the person who settles and never tries at all.

3.  You have chosen the easiest possible path.

Nothing in life is easy. Don’t expect things to be given to you.  Go out and achieve them.  Good things come to those who work for them.  Some have natural talent, while others make up for it with tremendous heart and determination, and it’s almost always the latter group that succeeds in the long run.
There is too much emphasis on finding a ‘quick fix’ in today’s society.  For example taking diet pills to lose weight instead of exercising and eating well.  No amount of magic fairy dust replaces diligent, focused, hard work.
Working and training for something is the opposite of hoping for it.  If you believe in it with all your heart, then work for it with all your might.  Great achievements must be earned.  There is no elevator to success; you must take the stairs.  So forget how you feel and remember what you deserve.  NOW is always the best time to break out of your shell and show the world who you really are and what you’re really made of.  Start right where you are, use what you have, do what you can, and give it your best shot.

4.  Obstacles are all you see.

The big difference between an obstacle and an opportunity is how you look at it.  Look at the positives and don’t dwell on the negatives.  If you keep your head down, you’ll miss life’s goodness.
There’s no shortage of problems waiting to be addressed.  When you see problems piled on top of problems, and when there seems to be no end to the work that must be done in order to resolve them, what are you really seeing?  You’re looking at a mountain of opportunity.  You’re looking at a situation in which you can truly make a difference.  You’re looking at an environment where you can reach great heights by raising the stakes and pulling the reality of what’s possible along with you.
When you look at an obstacle, but see opportunity instead, you become a powerful source that transforms grief into greatness.

5.  You are working hard, but making zero progress.

To achieve success and sustain happiness in life, you must focus your attention on the right things, in the right ways.  Every growing human being (that means all of us) has resource constraints: limited time and energy.  It is critical that you spend your resources effectively.  You have to stay laser-focused on doing the RIGHT work, instead of doing a bunch of inconsequential work, right.
Not all work is created equal.  Don’t get caught up in odd jobs, even those that seem urgent, unless they are also important.  Don’t confuse being busy with being productive.

6.  You have a started a dozen projects and completed none of them.

We are judged by what we finish, not what we start.  Period.
Think about it, you rarely fail for the things you do.  You fail for the things you don’t do, the business you leave unfinished, and the things you make excuses about for the rest of your life.
In all walks of life, passion is what starts it and dedication is what finishes it.

7.  You are too busy to connect with others in a meaningful way.

Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life for yourself.  Never get so busy that you don’t have time to be kind and connect with others.  The happiest lives are connected to quality relationships.  If you are too busy to share an occasional laugh with someone, you are too busy.
Truth be told, sometimes we’re so busy watching out for what’s just ahead of us that we don’t take time to enjoy where we are and who we’re with.  So lift your head up today and appreciate those standing beside you.  The people you take for granted today may turn out to be the only ones you need tomorrow.
Oh, and if you’re currently on the fast track to success, be sure to be nice to people on your way up, because you might meet them again on your way back down.  Remember life is a circle.  Everything comes back around.

8.  The people you make time for don’t make time for you.

Wrong things happen when you trust and worry about the wrong people.  Don’t make too much time for people who rarely make time for you, or who only make time for you when it’s convenient for them.  Know your worth.  Know the difference between what you’re getting from people and what you deserve.
Surround yourself with those who will support you when it rains, not just when it shines.  And above all, remember that people come and people go.  That’s life.  You have to stop holding on to those who have let go of you long ago.

9.  You are playing a role in life’s drama circle.

Needless drama doesn’t just walk into your life out of nowhere; you either create it, invite it or associate with those who bring it.  Do not let anyone’s ignorance, hate, drama or negativity stop you from being the best person you can be.
Be an example of a pure existence.  Don’t spew hostile words at someone who spews them at you.  Ignore their foolish antics and focus on kindness.  Communicate and express yourself from a place of peace, from a place of love, with the best intentions.  Use your voice for good – to inspire, to encourage, to educate, and to spread the notions of compassion and understanding.
If someone insists on foisting their hostility and drama on you, simply ignore them and walk away.  Sometimes people will talk about you when they envy the life you lead.  Let them be.  You affected their life; don’t let them affect yours.  Those who create their own drama deserve their own karma.  Don’t get sidetracked by people who are not on track.

Good 14 Reasons You Should Reach Out With Successful People.

 It used to be a lot harder to reach out to successful people;
That’s a given, right?
However, regardless of what you want to talk about with your role models and people who inspire you, there’s so many benefits of reaching out to them.
Why should you reach out to successful people?
If you’re a dreamer, and you follow others who achieved dreams similar to yours, then imagine how much could come from you conversing with them. They might just be able to help you in a ridiculous number of ways.

An Awsome Reasons to Reach Out to Successful People

Here’s an awesome list of benefits of reaching out to successful people. There’s so much good that can come from simply shooting someone you admire an email. The possibilities are endless, so read this and see what you think.

1. You Can Learn A Lot From Successful People

The key reason why most people would want to reach out to successful people, would be to learn from them.
If you’re able to talk and converse with someone who has been successful in an area you’re enthusiastic about, that’s huge. They possess the knowledge needed to become successful at what you love to do.
Ask them questions, learn from them. Become more knowledgeable on the one thing you see yourself doing in the future.

2. They Are Almost Always Willing to Help

The great thing about those that are successful is that they often have a very generous mindset. Most successful individuals will love to help other people. That’s normally how they’ve managed to get to where they are.
Despite everything you might have been told about the wealthy being greedy and only wanting to help themselves, it’s usually the complete opposite.
So don’t be afraid to reach out to someone you look up to, just because you think they’ll be annoyed with you asking questions and won’t want to help.

3. You Can Easily Make Crucial Connections Through Them

Just because you send an email or a message to one person doesn’t mean the conversation has to end there. Someone you speak to is likely to know others who may be in a better position to help you or give you advice.
Naturally, they’ll introduce you to these people. It may end up being a crucial connection for you in the future, all thanks to you reaching out to someone completely different entirely.Just goes to show it pays you try and communicate with successful individuals, no matter how likely you think they are to be able to help you out.

4. Nowadays, It’s Easy to Reach Out to Successful People

Gone are the days where you’d have to try and find your role models in person to try and grab a minute of their time.
Now, it’s much simpler. All you have to do is get their email address, or social media info, and it becomes possible for you to reach out. And let’s face it, it’s not exactly hard to get someone’s email address or Facebook info.
There aren’t really any excuses for not being able to speak to people who inspire you. Unless of course, they just don’t reply. Which is sometimes likely, but that’s why you reach out to more than one person.

5. Successful People Are Inspirational People

As we’ve briefly been saying in the points above, successful people are people you find to be inspirational. Being inspired by others can do wonderful things for you, and that’s probably why you look up to the individuals in question in the first place.
If you’re trying to be an entrepreneur, and you see others who are already successful entrepreneurs, it’s easy to be inspired by them.
Being able to have a conversation with them only enhances this feeling, and inspiration is definitely something we all need more of.

6. Surround Yourself With People You Want to Be Like

They say you become like the 5 people with whom you spend the most time. If you spend your time with negative people, you’ll become negative. If you spend your time with successful people, you’ll become successful.
So naturally, having conversations with people you admire and want to be like, will help you become more like them. Understand the traits they carry, the way they speak and communicate, the attitudes they have and the knowledge that can quickly be passed on to you.

7. It’s Very Motivating to See An Insight to A Successful Person’s Life

It’s a tremendously motivating experience to get a wider inside peek at the life of someone who’s successful.
Maybe they end up telling you stories that give small glimpses of some of the things they do on a daily basis. The places they go, the cars they drive, the activities they get up to.
That has to be motivating for you to see right? Knowing that you could one day have access to what they have.
I’ve recently been interviewing people for the Wealthy Gorilla podcast, launching very shortly. It has given me an opportunity to talk with successful individuals and let them share their story with myself, and soon with any Wealthy Gorilla readers when it goes live.
Trust me, their stories are motivating.

8. They’ll Understand What You’re Going Through

A successful individual, 9 times out of 10, will have been through everything you’re going through right now.
Maybe you’re suffering from setbacks, disbelief, lack of results, exhaustion, money issues. Talk to someone who’s been there and come out on the other side.
It may just give you the inspiration you need to overcome any challenges in your way. Plus, since they’ve experienced the same hardships, they’ll be more empathetic towards you, and more likely to want to help you.

9. It Becomes Easier to Learn From Your Mistakes

When you decide to reach out to successful people, you are making the decision to reduce your learning curve, and be able to learn from any mistakes you make earlier on.
When you have no one to look up to, and you have something you’re setting out to achieve, you only have your own knowledge to go from. Your friends can’t help you. They most likely don’t know what you’re talking about.
So being able to pick up knowledge from a mentor or role model along the journey you’re on, is a huge bonus.

10. You’re A Lot Less Likely to Give up on Your Dreams

Most people decide to give up on their dreams thinking that they’re impossible. That they can’t be done, and it’s just not meant to be.
What if you were able to have an actual conversation with someone, telling you they’d achieved dreams rather similar to yours. You’d probably rethink your decision to quit right?
The excuse you gave yourself to give up is no longer valid. Before you give up on your dreams, it makes sense to try and speak with someone who’s in a similar position to the one you want to be in.

11. You Get to Experience Different Traits That Are Important for Success

I think I mentioned in one of the points earlier on that you really do get to understand more about the different traits and attitudes successful individuals carry when you converse with them.
This is a incredibly valuable experience for you because you are shown the qualities and habits you must adopt to become the individual you seek to be like, and to have the life you desire to live.

12. It Doesn’t Take A Lot of Time

Let’s be real here, it doesn’t take long to send an email. After reading through the complete list of reasons to reach out to successful people here, it’ll be clear that the time spent sending emails will 100% be worth it.
There’s not really any reasonable excuse for not reaching out to someone.

13. You Can Practice Your Communication Skills With Them

If you can communicate like a successful and confident individual would, then that puts you in a good position for making new connections, and gives you a vital skill when it comes down to your own success.
You’re able to pick up on how they communicate and reciprocate in a similar fashion, to better your level of communication in the eyes of a successful person.

14. It’s A Confidence Booster

I can’t tell you how much of a boost in confidence you receive, when someone who’s and huge inspiration to you, and clearly has a busy life, is taking the time you communicate and converse with you.
Not only does the boost in confidence come from the fact they’re taking time out of their busy schedule to talk to you. It also comes from the fact you’re speaking to someone who’s done what you dream to do.
They’ve made it possible, and maybe they were once exactly where you are now.
